With a preschooler at home, I spend most of my time watching / listening to cartoons!Even if the same program is aired the whole day, Lil Dude will watch the same episode with equal enthusiasm!

So, when there was this filler cartoon called Tasty Time With Zefronk , Lil Angel wanted me to watch it whenever it came on TV.

If you are new to this series, here is what it is all about. This is a short animated series aired on Disney Junior channel where Zefronk is a Dachshund , a chef who hosts cookery shows from inside his dog house. He has a songbird as his assistant and his neighborhood cat Dom always sneaks away with the dishes that Zefronk cooks.

The show has easy to make recipes that are so apt for kids to try.Hence Lil angel wanted to make one of the recipes that are seen on the show.

Thus was born this popsicle. It is a simple popsicle made with juices and the chef calls it Zefroncicles!

A super easy way to chill out in summer and one of the many ways to get the kids help you in the kitchen!!

This is the first post for Blogging Marathon #54,Week 3 for Srivalli’s Kid’s delight event with the theme – Cooking from Kids story books / TV shows that I am hosting here this month…

This is no big recipe! According to Chef Zefronk, take a juice you like, fill an ice cube tray with the cubes, Cover it up and insert a toothpick and freeze. Lick away once its frozen!

I adapted this recipe to make popsicles using store bought apple juice. Pout apple juice into popsicle moulds and freeze till set. Place under a running tap and pull them out gently. Enjoy!!!
