A while back, 2 months to be exact, I purchased a sandwich/ waffle maker online. I had this on my mind for a long time and one fine day Sharmi called up and said she was going to order one and since she knew my interest suggested I buy one too. So it was ordered and the parcel arrived.

I made great big plans to cook with it but after it came, I really couldn’t do much.I was getting ready to attend the Bloggers meets and also had to deal with a house full of people coughing and sneezing! I literally forgot about this sandwich maker till about a week ago.

That’s when I asked hubby if he had seen the parcel! He gave a weird look and pointed to the place where he has stored it safely!Feeling bad of neglecting the machine,I made grilled cheese sandwich for Lil Angel’s lunch box and made dosa waffles for my breakfast. These waffles tasted like extra crispy Onion Roast and I loved it!!

Waffles is one of the dishes under list of snacks and I had added an Indian touch to it.This is Blogging Marathon #50, Week 3 , Day 1, with the theme -Pick one category and do 3 dishes

  I used:

Dosa Batter – 2 cups
Onion-1,chopped
Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves, torn, a few
Chili powder- 1 teaspoon

Mix all the ingredients together. Make waffles as per the instructions on your waffle maker.

Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#50

Sending this to Srivalli’s Come, join us for breakfast event

Bon Appetit…
